Joana Rodrigues is an accomplished colourist with over a decade of experience spanning film, advertising, and both scripted and unscripted television. She adopts a deeply collaborative approach, working intimately with creators to uncover the emotional core of a project and ensuring every aesthetic choice serves the story.
Joana’s career began in television, where she performed colour grading for numerous projects at a boutique production house. She then transitioned into the world of advertising, spending two years at McCann grading campaigns for major global brands and refining her ability to deliver polished, brand-defining visuals.
Since 2023, Joana has been a key member of the MELS team, bringing creative visions to life using both Baselight and DaVinci Resolve. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Concordia University.
